A trippy, psychedelic masterpiece...feels like you've been to hippy church after hearing this album. I've loved this record since 1968. It's a very nice departure from the pop sounds of the songs they wrote for the Monkees and from their own other albums, not that I don't like those other records and songs, I really do. This album just feels many more years mature. Their cover of Jumpin' Jack Flash is just trippy....and it ROCKS OUT! Parts of the record sound like a church service that you really enjoy being in...and it all ends with a nice top 40 hit for B&H, Alice Long. You just gotta get this one and give it a listen even if you never really liked their style. It'll surprise you in the most pleasant way.
